Welcome! I’m Dr. Amir Leon Liaghati, the founder and CEO of Geeks International Academy (GIA). With over 13 years of experience in aerospace engineering, NASA projects, and advanced mathematical modeling, I am passionate about bridging the gap between complex technical concepts and practical learning.

I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, and throughout my career, I’ve been privileged to contribute to cutting-edge technologies as an inventor with 18 US patents. My work spans across fields like computer vision, algorithm development, and optimization techniques, particularly within the aerospace and technology sectors.

At GIA, my goal is simple: to make math, programming, and advanced engineering concepts accessible, engaging , and fun for students at all levels. I specialize in MATLAB programming, mathematical modeling, and optimization algorithms, and I focus on equipping students with the practical skills needed to excel in the rapidly-evolving tech landscape.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry and mentor students and professionals alike, helping them tackle real-world problems in fields like aerospace engineering and beyond.
